About AIFF

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is the apex body responsible for the governance, promotion, and development of football across the Republic of India. Affiliated to FIFA, the world governing body for football, and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the AIFF has been instrumental in shaping the sport's landscape in the world's second-most populous nation.

Our headquarters, Football House, is located in Dwarka, New Delhi. From here, we orchestrate a nationwide network of state associations, oversee professional leagues, manage national team preparations, and implement grassroots programs aimed at identifying and nurturing talent from a young age.

The AIFF's Baby Leagues and Grassroots Festivals introduce children aged 6-12 to football in a fun, non-competitive environment. Our Scouting Network works with state associations to identify talent for Regional Academies and Elite Academies, ensuring no potential star is missed.

Coach Education

We run a structured Coach Education pathway, from AIFF 'D' License to Pro Diploma, in collaboration with AFC and FIFA. Over 5000 coaches are certified annually. The AIFF also conducts regular workshops for physical trainers, goalkeeper coaches, and match analysts to raise overall standards.

Referee Development

A robust Referee Development Program ensures a steady supply of qualified match officials for domestic and international competitions. The program includes rigorous fitness testing, video analysis sessions, and mentorship from FIFA-listed referees to improve decision-making and game management.

AIFF National Centre of Excellence

Located in Bengaluru, the Centre of Excellence serves as the primary training base for national youth teams and a hub for coach and referee education. The facility features multiple natural and artificial turf pitches, a gymnasium, hostels, classrooms, and sports science support.
